John K. Howell, Jr., Ph.D
John has spent more than fifty years in the metal finishing, metalworking and lubricant industries, with in-depth experience in OSHA and EPA regulatory matters and a national reputation in lubricant and chemical Safety Data Sheet authoring. He has presented to the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association many times over fifteen years as its principal health and safety consultant. On the rail side, he has started four freight short lines, restarted two more, written the policies the Federal Railroad Administration requires, and spent twenty-five years in locomotive leasing.
